Holy cow, where did the month of January go? The only upside is that spring is just around the corner now…fingers crossed!
While I should be sharing photos of Valentines for the upcoming holiday (since it IS just around the corner! ;) I still have some CHA stuff to share. Tsukineko released some fun new Neon inks at the show, and I decided to try one of each color on my card here.
The new Neon's are pigment inks, so they are rich with coverage, my fave for clear stamps!
Used here are the Electric Yellow, Orange, Coral, Pink, Purple, Blue, & Green colors. Off to get finished on my Valentines…at this rate, you will see them around mid March or so. :)
Hello- HAPPY HUMP day from the worlds worst blogger! :) It's also end of semester here, so it's our friday as well!
I have a SLEW of cards to share, just need a few more hours in the day to get them all edited and uploaded! I have been BURIED in post CHA paper work- I really thought I would return home to a quiet peaceful workload, and I was sorely wrong. :)
Hello- I am off to CHA! It's been a crazy busy few weeks and hopefully all of our hard work has paid off!
Spellbinders has re done their booth this year, and it's AMAZING. A-MAY-ZING! I can not wait to hear what everyone thinks. In the mean time, here's a quick card using one of BRAND new faves of this release Feathers. Check out the other new releases sneak peaking each day this week!
I'll be back with a few more projects when the show goes live!
Welcome to year two of the Seasons Giving Blog Hop!
This has been a great year, and while many things changed for me with regards to design work, (all positive) even more things changed at home with my health and for that I am truly thankful!
Please disregard my sloppy photo- I am behind in cleaning, (CHA prep has taken over!) and I had to slide everything off onto the floor to even find counter space! ;)
The GIVE AWAY!
There's a mix of stamps, papers, inks, embellishments, adhesives and who knows what else.
Go ahead and leave me a comment telling me what you are most excited for this upcoming new year. The give away will end Sunday the 5th. Check back on the 6th for a winner!
And here's one of my favorite cards of 2013…(I think it was in a CardMaker SIP earlier this year) Must be the tag shape, not sure why I like it so. It has actually been sitting on my desk for a while now and I often use the design over again.
Here's the full list of everyone who is offering up something to celebrate their thankfulness today!
I am always one for some type of last minute addition to our gifts, and today I have a few easy gift tags you could use on your packages or on a bottle of cheer for your hostess.
Both of these tags use the Monterey Pine wood pieces from Imagine Crafts. This star one was inked with red Memento Luxe before being adhered to my star tag that had been spritzed with Sheer Shimmer Spritz.
The tree was inked in Olive Grove before being added to the Delicata stamped tag. I love that ink! ;)
You could easily tie either one onto a gift, a bag, or a bottle of cheer and dress up the occasion! Or, switch it up for New Years and bring it to your New Years Eve party!
The countdown is on! Christmas is right around the corner and I am NOT even close to ready! Here's a Christmas card though that I Did manage to create last week while avoiding other things that need to be done… ;)
I started with a white card base and spritzed it with Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Gold about 6 times until I like the result-full overall sheer shimmery color coverage, not splotchy at all! I stamped my sentiment in Golden Glitz Delicata ink, and then adhered my die cuts.
Here's a close up so you get an idea of just how much shimmer there is. It isn't easy to photograph!
Overall, I really love how it turned out- the Shimmer Spritzes are my favorite way to add sparkle and shine to any project!!
