What's been keeping me from stamping...

So, this top picture is my son last night getting his orange belt!! He just loves Kempo!!

The second is of him Thursday earning his monthly achievements at his cub scout pack meeting wearing his new vest sporting all of his accomplishments.

I will take pictures later of this vest up close and the back, but it is my sons cub scout vest where he puts his segments/achievements from scouting. The segments are on the back in a circle shape, and I would be lying if I said I can sew. :)
I spent the better portion of a week working on trying to hand sew these patches on because I am afraid of my sewing machine and more than unfamiliar with using it. (I have all sorts of respect for those of you who actually sew on your cards/pages!) I did manage to figure it out, (had the durned thing for over 10 years) but do not look at the inside of the vest...oh, and the sewing machine and I did have a disagreement, and the machine won.

Is it normal to accidentally sew items to the machine?? Okay, so I admit it, it was messy! I had to cut away at the thread to free the vest!!

Okay~ I am off again to another NSR event with my kid, and will really try to make sure I have new stuff to post!
Have a super weekend!! Pin It Now!

Bye Garden Silhouettes!

I do really love this set, but it's retiring soon, (wow, that was fast!) and I am *really* working on clearing out stuff. I have TONS of retired stuff that I need to part with, and tons of current stuff that I cannot use up!

No more hoarding~ this has been so great for me!

Any how, this is one of my last cards with this set before I traded it off. I did trade for Stem Silhouettes, which is only mini catty current, could come back into the big book~ I like the words in the stem set better.

I love this color combo- eggplant and celery, and the new whimsy wheel is so great for a quick backgroundand I inked it with eggplant as well. This is quick stamping at it's finest! I stamped the flower in eggplant onto shimmery white, and then stamped twice more with out re-inking, matted onto celery, wrapped a ribbon around, mounted onto eggplant with dimensionals, (what's a card with out half a pack of dimensionals?)

Well, not too bad of a headache today, 5 more days of no allergy meds, and hopefully, relief will come!
Have a super Friday! Pin It Now!

Welcome RAK

So here is my last welcome rak to send out for the SCS welcoming committee, I am overextended in my commitments and need to back off from some of them. This was one, I would rather just send out RAK's randomly~ So I am browsing through blogs like I usually do, and saw Sara Redman's blog who has been posting sketches, and her card reminded me I had this set, (which I just had to have, and have never used!) so I followed her sketch and set.

Am I the only one who cannot line up these flowers? What am I do wrong? I got this set in a trade, and am thinking I need to remount it....I honestly just cannot find how it lines up and matches. However, I am happy with the results!

I managed to *kinda* line up the flower image, and cut it out, tied the ribbon through, and mounted with dimensionals. The colors are springy, I needed a break from my pumpkin over usage!

Okay- wish me luck, I will be crabby for the next week or so~ I have an allergy appointment next Wednesday and cannot take any of my prescriptions for the next week....ugh, I already have a monstrous headache this morning, some sinus pressure, and I am not sure if my family will care for me after the week is up!

I am hoping I am up to stamping, so far today~ I am not interested in doing anything!

Hope you have a better day than me!!

Details: Three for you, bud basics, little bits wheel. Bashful Blue, Apricot, Celery, WW CS. Apricot, Celery, & Bashful Classic inks. Apricot, celery, & Bashful grosgrain, bashful gingham, bling brads from MM, & dimensionals. Pin It Now!

I just love Halloween! So, I have made a *few* cards to send out~ Yes, these are all quick and easy cards, but when you mass produce, it's best to have a simpler design! These are always fun to send as a card, or even sometimes 'boo' someone-

Most of these use last years paper- (my hoarding days are so over now!) and booglie eyes.

The mummy and the witch are stamped on shimmery white, and I thought I would see how my mummy would look using punches. He turned out ok missing a few m.m. around his head and feet.

I found that fabulous black and white spider web ribbon at Joann's and I may go back for more!! It's so cute with the spiders! These are all going out into the mail box soon!!
Watch your mailboxes.....

Angie~ Could you pm or email me your address??

And lastly....julia_s on SCS- OMG!!! She has done the ultimate in 'pay it forward'...stay tuned for more info, I am still trying to figure out how I am going to pay it forward to the next person...and I will share her super treat to me!

Details: Stamps- Booglie eyes, speckled jumbo wheel. CS: WW, Vintage Violet, Shimmery white, black, creepy crawly, & halloween night ds papers. Ink: going gray, versafine black, violet, olive, pumpkin, choc chip. Ribbon- spider web-JoAnn's, vintage violet (ret). punches, paper piercing tool/matpack, dimensionals~ do I ever not use them??

Another RAK, and a challenge card

So I managed to squeeze in a demo challenge yesterday, and I have to upload it to SCS still...
The challenge was to make a card using your background stamp as the focal point. I just love this bg, so it was an easy choice!

I need to stock up on a few birthday cards as well. (I will probably make a few more here shortly)

I stamped the bg on my white cards base in wasabi first, then layered the pierced wasabi under another white piece. The main ww piece is 5 x 3 3/4", and is adhered with dimensionals. I stamped 'happy' from the it's all good set in guava onto shimmery white, and layered with dimensionals onto guava then a wasabi scallop. I just love these two colors! Hopefully the recipient does as well!

This second card is a RAK from Guarinomom on SCS- she is a fellow coordinator in our DSS group. I think she sent all of us coordinators a RAK with goodies in it!! Isn't it fabulous!! Pin It Now!

September 24, 2007

here it is-Scrapbook Sunday on Monday!!

But at least I did it!

This picture is of my daughter last year at this time in her Halloween shirt. I got an orange one for her this year, and will try and get roughly the same picture of her. It is amazing to see her hair here, I thought it had stopped growing a while back, but it is much shorter here. And is she not *the* most beautiful little girl? Yes, I am a tad biased! *wink*

This page uses last years Halloween papers and vintage violet as the base. I am simplistic at times and want it to be about the photo. So while I see all the things I *could* add to it, I love this just the way it is!!
I simply cut the paper to length and adhered it with mono multi, pierced the black layer and added it. I matted her photo onto old olive. The letters are from big deal alpha and I just love how the black ties in with her shirt, and the pumpkin matches it as well. The letters are stamped on old olive, cut out and mounted with dimensionals.
Hope you like it!

And below are a few more RAK's- actually one is from Shannan (who is experiencing technical difficulties currently- wish her some luck!!) for my birthday, and the other is from my SS on SCS. Her card has the bookmark attached on the side. It is great!
Thanks Ladies!

I have learned my lesson being late twice! I will start next Sunday's page today or tomorrow. The biggest battle for me is 1) finding the right picture, and 2) using different colors/layouts/design. I tend to use what I have out from the prior project, and I love the simple layout! I will clean first and out it all away before I start.
Have a fabulous day~ the weather is gorgeous here today!

Scrapbook Sunday is late...again

But I will quickly share why....we had a birthday party to go to today, and all the kids talked about all week was David's birthday party where they get to bowl!!! Check out these cute kids...And check out Will's form, he looks like he know what he's doing!

I have my scrap page 80% done, and will post tomorrow! I need to start next weeks right afterwards!! ;) I spent to many days playing and no stamping/scrapping!! Pin It Now!

Stupid Criminals....and a funny.

After 7 years of listening to my husband tell me stories about just how dumb some crooks can be, I saw this. I am sorry, but this tops it! Thank God stupidity isn't contagious.

And with that, I got an email with this joke, so I thought I would share~

The Obedient Wife

There was a man who had worked all his life, had saved all of his
money, and was a real "miser" when it came to his money.
Just before he died, he said to his wife... "When I die, I want you
to take all my money and put it in the casket with me. I want to take
my money to the afterlife with me."

And so he got his wife to promise him, with all of her heart, that
when he died, she would put all of the money into the casket with him.

Well, he died.

He was stretched out in the casket; his wife was sitting there -
dressed in black, and her friend was sitting next to
her. When they finished the ceremony, and just before the undertakers

got ready to close the casket, the wife said, "Wait just a moment!"
She had a small metal box with her; she came over with the box and
put it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and
they rolled it away.

So her friend said, "Girl, I know you were not fool enough to put
all that money in there with your husband."

The loyal wife replied, I cannot go back on
my word. I promised him that I was going to put that money into the
casket with him."

You mean to tell me you put that money in the casket with him!?!?!?"

"I sure did," said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into my
account, and wrote him a check.... If he can cash it, he can spend

Send this to every clever female you know, and to every man who
thinks they are smarter than us (women)!!!

My husband is pretty cheap, so I can relate to this one!! Pin It Now!

Okay, so I have stamped a few quick cards this week, nothing spectacular though! Won't bore you with them!
I have been trying to clean and organize my stamping space- mostly out of necessity~ I can't find anything!! And I did make some of those adorable lanterns with the creepy crawly paper, those are fun! Again, nothing new or original that you haven't already seen!

I am hoping to get my cleaning done so I can stamp again. And I need to get a page done for tomorrow....eek....maybe it won't be done on time again!!! I am off to go shopping later today, then to a friends to make caramel apples with the kids, (We haven't started yet and it already sounds disastrous!! Hot caramel and 6 kids....hmmmm will rethink this idea) Tomorrow has a birthday party after church, so I am limited on stamping time this weekend!! I did get a few more BRAK's, RAK's, a card from my big sis and a fabulous bday card from Shannan~ I will upload those as soon as I can! Pin It Now!

More BRAK'S...

So....I figured I could do them all at once!
This first one is from my SS on SCS. It's such a great layout, and I love the contrast of the pink and black.
The second card (regal rose/olive with a flower) is from Denise Hinton, aka geekgirl415 on SCS.
We are in a swap group and she was so sweet and surprised me with this card!! I just love it!

The third card is from the RAK group on SCS- they send out birthday cards monthly! What a fun surprise to get happy mail!
The card is by Kelly, aka Littlekel90 on SCS.

The Both way blossoms card is from Debra Tack- dtstampz on SCS. She has always managed to send me RAK's over the course of what seems like a couple of years! She has got to have some sort of record for RAK's sent! I always see her name popping up in the TY's!!

The dare to be fabulous card is from Aubrey~ montigg on SCS. She is my coordinator for SS and was so sweet to send me a BRAK!
And the fall colored card is from an Aunt....she just married into our family, and happens to love making cards!! I think she will fit in just fine! *wink*

If I manage to clean/organize today, maybe I can stamp a little...that is my hope!
There is always tomorrow!! Pin It Now!

We have a new dog in the house....

So here is my new french poodle Fifi....She is cute, no?
Love Old Navy~ we got this for under $17.00!! I am sure she will get all sorts of good use out if it!

The second picture shows this is how she looks when she "wags" her tail!!

She honestly thinks when she is wearing this, that people think she is a dog!! Gotta love age 3!!

Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes! We had a great day, went to the fair!
I ended up getting a few more RAK's, so I will get those posted ASAP!

have a super day!! Pin It Now!

September 17, 2007

So, I am not 23 anymore!

Well, I haven't been for a while, *wink* and I am good with it~
Since it's been a birthday weekend around here, I of course, made another birthday card! I *finally* was able to incorporate the clear square button I was trying to work with! I am not sure of where I came up with these colors together, but I like them!

The base is going gray, and the ds papers is soft sky. I have been in a pumpkin mood with Halloween around the corner and all! I just had to try mixing it in! The enjoy sentiment is from the bee happy set, and it works well with this square button. I adhered the button to the shimmery white cs with a few strands of pumpkin pie grosgrain that had been frayed apart intentionally.

Of course you have your usual scalloped layered edge in pumpkin along the bottom, a pierced pumpkin edge at the top, both of which are layered underneath the soft sky ds paper. The enjoy is stamped in pumpkin craft on shimmery white, layered onto gray and the taffeta ribbon is layered in between the two.

It is a yukky Monday morning, not your typical pacific northwest weather, and we are braving the fair this afternoon after Will gets home from school. I am hoping to get some cleaning/organinzing done in my computer/stamp looks like a bomb went off, not once, but a few times!

So far as far as birthday presents go.....I did get my camera I had been wanting, (check a few posts back) and of course my daughter picked out a *lovely* new ice cream scoop for me!!! she is so sweet!!! I know she is just thinking of how much easier it will be for me to scoop her some ice cream now! Isn't it great what kids think of for you!

We also got a trip to DISNEYLAND from my inlaws!!!! WOW!!

We have been wanting to take the kids (without breaking the bank or drowning in credit card bills for the years following) and now we can! We are both pretty excited about it! Now to just make plans....this one is a secret from the kids until the day we leave~ I can just hear them asking EVERY single day until we would leave!!!!
Okay- well I need to work on getting Will off to school~
Have a super Monday!

Details: Be Happy, It's your birthday; Going Gray, Pumpkin, Shimmery white cs, Soft sky DS papers. Going Gray classic ink, pumpkin craft ink. Scrap Book Sunday, another BRAK

So, here is yet another 6x6 layout of my daughter and I. She loves having painted fingers and toes, but it tickles to put the "things" between her toes!
Another layout pulled from April SS.
That tag says "beautiful", and the journaling below reads 'Lauren loves to have her toes painted!' I am trying to get myself comfortable with 6x6 pages, they just seem *so* small to work with.

I stamped the flower from petal ans polka dots in olive on the olive, stamped the trio of flowers in apricot on the apricot layer, and stapled a piece of ric rac to the bashful blue matting I layered my picture with. I stamped the "s" in celery on shimmery white and cut it out with paper snips, stamped the dotted lined circle in celery on a piece of paper, stamped the flower in apricot over it, and punched it out with a 1 1/4" circle punch, placed a ruby red brad through, and adhered them both down.

The card is from Becky Carafa, beccabatgirl on SCS. I just love her style! She makes some really great stuff and she just recently started a blog, so check her out!

Well, I have a few days worth of clean up work in my craft room....I have let some of the organizing go the wayside, and am paying big time for it now!! It's a mess in here!
So, hopefully, I can find and hour (or 2-3) today to work on it!! Otherwise, I will not be able to do anything else in here!!

Have a great Sunday!

Happy Saturday

I love fall colors, and even more so fall! We didn't seem to have such a great summer, but I am gearing up for fall none the less. It has been cold here in the morning and night, and warm/hot in the afternoon time. The length of warmth shrinks each day!
Today is my husbands birthday! We are going to just take it easy around here, have a lunch date with his mom, and dinner and drinks tonight.

Yesterday I received the pink poodle costume I ordered from Old Navy for Lauren- she *loves* pink, and she has been running around wearing it already! If she stops moving, I will take a picture, it's so cute! She actually wore it up to the store, and wanted to know if anyone recognized her!! So funny, I love that she thinks she is a poodle when she is in it!!

Here I was starting this card with the intention of working in a clear square button, but did not like the reults, so I bailed on the button. (Sorry Krystie-I will try another later! I am thinking you may be on to something with your post!!!) In the meantime, I do like the colors, love this new wide ribbon!!
I am off to see if I can work the button into another layout! Have a super week!

Mid week Scrapping

So...for those of you who say you can't's a challenge for you...
Take a simple layout and case it~ This is from April Stampin' Success- (pg 4)
I changed the colors a tad, changed the direction of the layout, changed the stamps, and the embellishments.

This is a 6x6 page, which I find to be a challenge~ it's just so small, and 12x12 seems like so much to work with. I have found I live the 8 1/2 x 11 best. (Plus, I have the paper already!) So I cased the layout to start my page.

Have a super day!

Details: Cool Carribean, Marigold Morning, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, & Shimmery White CS. Marigold & Carribean classic inks. Be happy & Little pieces sets. Paper piercing tool/mat pack, photo corner punch, 1/4" circle punch, 3/4" circle punch, black stampin' write marker & dimensionals.

Masculine stuff, & more BRAKs!

I was reading on another blog about masculine cards, and since my fabulous husband has a birthday two days before mine, I figured I better make him a card!! So here is my trio I came up with today! I used the super textured cs in Sahara, and my new it's all good set! Fun stuff!! And do you see that black & white ribbon from the ds ribbon....I am not hoarding!! Using it all!

BTW~ textured cs is a bit more challenging to stamp on and get a crisp image, so my Birthday's are the Best card was a re-do! The first one, not so pretty!

And last, but not by any means least~ A fantabulous birthday card from my very dear friend Teresa~ jtkshaw.

This card is paper pieced! Check out her dress! all pieced together, how great is that!

I am off to try and get rid of my sinus headache that I woke up with!
Have a great day!!

Details: Sahara Sand Textured, Shimmery white, Black, Gray, & Blue Bayou cs. It's all good & It's your birthday; black versafine ink, going gray classic ink. going gray taffeta, ds original ribbons, blue bayou double stitched, & JoAnn's black & white ribbon; Paper piercing tool/mat pack, scalloped circle punch, slot punch, both circle punches, both square punches, brads, & dimensionals. Birthday RAK's, and another DC Card

So, in my mailbox yesterday were two B-RAK's! How great is happy mail?!?
The first is from fellow DSS Coordinator Tracy Tripp~ she even sent some fabulously cute ribbon! Gotta love that! HUGE thanks Tracy!!
Cute Card!

And the second is from Lisa Henke, I just love that stamp set she used, and have been *trying* to trade for it for a while now! Great colors, and what a super layout! Thank so very much Lisa!!

The last is from a demo challenge I played in last week, using your punches for quick and easy demonstrable card. It has a blue bayou base, wasabi layer then shimmery white for the flowers. Makes a quick and cute card!! I am already going to miss these 3 colors next year~ I reach for them ALL the time!

I sent an email to AmyR last night regarding a design team call she had....I need to really just start throwing myself at these calls more often! Luckily I happened to check in on her blog, and I had the date wrong for the deadline! I kicked my dh off the computer and shot the email out before it was too late! Wish me luck, I know it's all about matching styles to fill a need...hopefully I fit the criteria!

Well, another fabulously wonderful weather day here.....I need to send off the 20+ sets I sold on ebay, (not a fun trip to the PO with your 3 yo in tow!!) and I need to list the rest~ I am cleaning house! Too much stuff from my hoarding's all going if I don't use it!!

I am *so* late!! Scrap book Sunday!

So~ an impromptu Football season kickoff BBQ interrupted my day yesterday! I never got to finish posting my Sunday Scrapbook Page!! So sorry~ So, to make it up, I am posting a double layout! ;) I had started this with only 3 pictures, doing one page, and my son comes in and tells me- "Mom- you should get a picture of the space needle in there somewhere, that way you know what it is I am sitting on!" So, I added two more pictures, and another page.

I don't like putting to much on to the page, I like it to be about the pictures, and I hope here, that I haven't taken from the actual handsome child pictured here!

These pictures were taken when my dad's wife turned 50, and we celebrated by eating lunch at the Space Needle. We have been there a million times, but the kids have never been up top to eat. It happens to slowly go around while you eat so you can see all aspects of the city. The kids loved it! Of course, I took my usual 100+ pictures of the event!

I am hoping to get more stamping/scrapping done this week, but my DH husband has training all week in Seattle which throws off my schedule~ I will have little to no time to do anything. Here's to hoping I catch a free minute! Have a super day!

My favorite Halloween card yet!

I just love this one! This was for the demo challenges on SCS, and this has to be my favorite one by far! The batty for you images are meant to be with this piece of chipboard!

What a busy couple of days we have had~ I have my scrap book Sunday page partially completed, and will make sure to get it up today sometime! It has been gorgeous weather here, and we have been doing a minor clean sweep on our house (which includes my craft area!!) and the new fridge is in!! We are going in four directions! The kids really want to play outside today, so I will head outside after church to let them burn some energy off!

Have a super day, I will be back later with my page, which seems to be making itself into a double page layout!

Demo Challenges

So....I got myself, well my fabulous DH did, a little pre-birthday gift!! It's a 10.2 Canon Rebel XTi!!! Yeah!!
I am upgrading from my point and shoot digital camera to a digital SLR!! Woohoo, I see an owners manual with lots of reading in my future!

Here is the template for the treat holder I posted the other day~ nothing much to it, and it is very adaptable to whatever size you want it to be.
It's 8 1/2 x 11 by 5 1/4. Score along the long side at 1/4", and 2 3/4".
Score along the bottom at 1/2" and cut in between flaps, and remove one side. Basically take your long small flap and bottom flap, fold in and up, glue, and it makes a pouch. Easy to make shorter, and or wider/longer. You can use any shape to punch out the front. Easy Peasy!! :)

So on SCS there are these Demo Challenges, like the regular daily ones, only you upload them to the SUB. The only downside to this is that the non-demos cannot view the sub. Or least I don't think so. So, here is one of my challenge cards. This is a quick and simple one! Love this set, the paper, and no hoarding!!

Have a super day, another gorgeous weather day here!!! Pin It Now!

I love happy mail!

I love happy mail, and these were both waiting for me yesterday when I got home from picking Will up from school.
The first is a fabulous notebook with my initials and matching pen, accompanied by some yummy wide ribbon!! None only than the ribbon Queen sent it to all of us DSS coordinators - Jody!
She made a journal for each of us~ so very fun!!
What great colors!

The second id from my friends mom in Iowa, she's a bit early, but the kids and I decided to open it anyway! It was a lime margarita themed birthday basket- complete with lime salt, drink mix, maragarita shaped noodles, dip mix, a cheeseball spreader, and margarita ornament. Very fun, I will have to try it out now!!

My husband took yesterday and today off, and while I have plans to stamp things and post them, when he's home he tends to keep my from that!
So we are off to buy a new fridge today. I have a card idea in my head, half of it started, stamps set aside, inks gathered.....and we are fridge shopping! He just doesn't understand! My son is *so* excited to get a new fridge, he gave DH $30 of his earned money to pitch in!!
How funny~ He really wants the one with the water dispenser in the door!! I didn't think 8 year olds really cared about this type of stuff!

Also~ The treat holder I posted earlier in the week, I will add the measurements to it, hopefully later today~ it is super easy, it's more of a time issue of getting it done, and my computer challenged-ness!!

It's a gorgeous day here, mid 70's! Enjoy!! Pin It Now!

Tent Topper Halloween...

I haven't yet done one of these style cards, and thought I would give it a go....So here it is!
The circle is a piece of chipboard, covered in white craft ink and then stamped on. *Does craft ink ever dry??* I heat set it, and it still seemed damp! I think covering it with EP worked best.

I stamped the bat, spider, and cat with versafine black ink on the somewhat still damp craft ink, covered in IIEP and set. Then, and only then, did it finally feel dry. I have decided I am chipboard challenged!

So, in my previous life as a hoarder, I acquired more paper and supplies to choke a horse with, and in my attempt to use it before I buy more, I am using Halloween paper from last year. (Yes, I have paper from this years catalog as well...) I have made an more hoarding! Can you say it with me?!? I hereby order you and myself to use all the goodies!! Did you see the pretties I used yesterday? So proud of myself!
I have a pack *unopened* of the Holiday Thyme Christmas paper from last year, and an unopened pack of Enchante paper still sitting here trying to figure out just how I am going to use them all up, not to mention all of the OPENED packs I have! Spring showers, spring flowers, rebecca, recollections, sarah, tree house, you name it, I probably have it!

Ok, so enough about hoarding, I am going to use it up. And my ribbon!!

Let's see your projects using your stuff!! Pin It Now!

Yea for Back to School!

So, here is a card I managed to put together in between entertaining my 3 year old! Now that Will is back in school, she has nobody to play with! Which means mommy is now entertainment again!!

I won the flowers and flourish set from my upline who had a swap contest at our group meetings. I have been wanting to use it and the papers both for a while now but couldn't stop with the Halloween! This is also my first time using the pretties and that hat pin...Tricky it was!

I am excited for the back to school routine to get into full swing! Here is my *handsome* son on his first day of 2nd grade!!

Details: Flowers & Flourish, Linen prints ds papers, pretties kit, choc chip taffeta, cameo coral ink, marker & textured paper, close to cocoa cs, button & ink, paper piercing tool/mat pack, and dimensionals. all SU! Pin It Now!

Sketch Challenge 140!

Well, I did another challenge, and since I had this set and matching papers out, I figured I could use it again!
I am thinking I should have used thinner ric rac though...what do you think? Not sure, something is just not working for me on it~ one of those cards you envisioned differently! Maybe the aluminum is clashing?
The 'friend' is stamped on shimmery and adhered with dimensionals, the linen print paper is pierced all the way around and also adhered with dimensionals. The card base seem to stark white, so I stamped linen in caramel, but then I didn't like it! Oh well.....maybe I can find time to do another later!
Regardless, I can send it to someone in the mail, and hopefully they won't completely dislike it! Pin It Now!

Scrapping catch up

First~ I have had a few people ask about subscription services....I am so green with this blog stuff it took me a while to figure it out, but I did it!
I added the feedblitz thingy, (technical term) and I *think* that is all I need to do. So, if you sign up and it doesn't work in a couple of days, let me know! Again, I am a rookie, and I am not sure what I am doing, but will revisit it if I need to!

On to the good stuff~ I have been trying to keep up with Angie and Beate who have been posting Scrapbook Sunday pages every Sunday, and it has prompted me to continually scrap through out the week!

So here is another page~ 12 x 12, which I tend to shy away from. I like the 8 1/2 x 11 size. It just works for me! This photo however, is a 5 x 7, so it seemed to be appropriate to go larger this time. It was taken on Mother's day earlier this year, and is one of the few pictures I have of my husband and I! I am always the picture taker, and hardly get in any....

Today was my sons first day back at school, so I am trying to get adjusted to the routine I so desperately miss!
Have a super first day of school to the rest of you who have started late with us West Coasters!

Details: paper by MME bohemia line, both sets of letters by MM, Flowers courtesy Heidi Swapp, ric rac ala JoAnn's, bling brads courtesy MM.

Another treat holder...

So, I thought I would play a little more with Halloween stuff~ I am thinking about ordering a Holiday set from the mini, and if I do, I will abuse that set. Then maybe, I will lay off the Halloween theme!

Just another quick and easy treat holder can adapt these to hold anything, pixy stix, candy bars, etc.

Tomorrow is the BIG day...Back to school for my oldest. Which means I will now have to start getting up again. The one perk to vacation, I can sleep in ;)
I am really looking forward to having our schedule and structure back, it works well for the kids.

Happy Labor Day! Pin It Now!
