Today is a big day in our house. My daughter is getting her first haircut! She is finally ready and willing, something that we have been battling with for the last 6 months.
I am excited and I am sure I will be somewhat sad to see her hair go, (I am a little biased) I happen to think it's gorgeous.
And yes, she will be donating it. She plans to have 10" cut, but I am thinking we may be able to go a little more and still have enough for some sort of cute shoulder length bob.

What a beautiful little girl, and gorgeous hair...it's great that she is donating it. My daughter-in-law has donated hers since she was a kid (she's 25 now) and I think it's just great! Tell your daughter I think she is SUPER SPECIAL to be doing this, and that I'm sure her new "do" will be wonderful! HUGS to all of you! :D
Yay for her! That's a tough decision to make. My hair is like hers and has been almost all my life. Stick straight, to my waist. I just don't like to spend time on my hair and if its short, there is no body, so I just leave it long. She's beautiful... any hairstyle will look great! besides... it'll grow back.

WOW! She is so pretty and what a nice thing to do. I'm sure that was hard to watch her have her hair cut.
