Yea! She was such a trooper! I thought I would shed a tear, but no. none.It's actually a relief now to have less tangles. She got up today, brushed it through and is off to school!
And it is *way* cute!!!! Isn't it fabulous! I just love the picture of her in the chair smiling at herself in the mirror.
When she put the hair band on and went to cut I think I gasped~ it seemed like it was going to be waaaaay too short. I think she cut it fast before we all changed our minds!
Lauren wants to pick who gets her hair, I am still trying to explain that part of the process.....I am planning to send these pictures off with her hair and makes some little girls day!
My husband, the one who was ready to cut it, "cut it short, and cut bangs" he said, now thinks it's too short. He is the only one struggling to adjust to it. such a boy. Pin It Now!

Oh, she is awesome! So adorable in her new hair style...it frames her beautiful face! And I'm sure it will be much easier to care for. I remember (I'm 53) crying when my Mom combed the tangles in my hair! I also remember the first time I ever did my pony tail myself...what a great day that was! Haha Isn't it funny the little things that are so "big"? I'm so happy for the child that will get her beautiful hair, your daughter should be SO proud! :D

Wow, it's so cute!!!!!!! You should be really proud of your little girl for cutting her hair and donating it! My friend's dd did that a few years ago (I think she was 5 and it was her choice) and they've never regretted the decision to do it.

What an amazing and selfless thing for your daughter to do. Sure, it's hair and it'll grow back, but to do this at her age it's such a wonderful gesture! Hubby will come around and your daughter is just precious!

While I would have begged your little one to keep her long hair, the hair cut made her hair look thicker and it lays so nice.
