One week until Halloween and I need to get my fix in still for halloween cards...maybe a few after will be ok?? ;)
My card uses birdie inspiration- one of my most fave sets! the paper is Sasafrass Lass- pretty basic and straight forward. I hear there might be sales today also....make sure to head over and play BINGO!
Today is my busy day-as busy as a stay at home mommy can get... I help in one of the kids classes, then a pta meeting, (b-o-r-i-n-g!) (Sorry if any of you are reading this!!!) and then off to buy food for the always hungry children. I swear I could buy a new car if i got a nickel for every time i heard- "I'm hungry"! Any one else have kids that think eating is a sporting event they place in?

I love this sentiment...great card! With two boys, I think food is quickly becoming one of our biggest expenses...I am worried the teenage years will leave us broke! :)

A sporting event? Definitely a competition. My kids go so far as to split every item that comes into the house. Heaven forbid I might actually want something to eat myself. It's usually gone. Just wait 'til yours are teenagers!

My little ones are always asking for food!! They are so skinny I dont know where it all goes!! They eat me out of house and home :)
LOL! Never quite thought of the way my children eat as a sporting event - but if I did, they would certainly win first prize in the "snack" event! I think I say 100 times a day - it is a snack, not a meal!

Your day sounds like mine...just got home after time at the school. Now it is 'clean house' time...ICK. I don't get the 'I'm hungry' from my dd, but I do get 'can I watch TV?'....I would hire a housekeeper with all the nickels I make from that one..hee hee! Love your bright card!

Cute card!! When our kids were all home we used to go to a "day old" bread store and by big bags of bread sticks. Heat them with butter and coarse salt or garlic salt on top. Cheap way to fill them up!!
