Happy Saturday!

It is turning out to be a gorgeous day here today! After a chilly week in Anaheim, the Seattle weather is quite appealing!!

Here is a Lizzie Anne Valentine for you, using the set L'Amour which happens to be on sale this week still.
I paired it up with some fabulous Cosmo Chemistry paper, and a bling heart from MAMBI icons.



And while we were in Anaheim, we had the opportunity to eat with the Lizzie Anne girls- Tricia and Meridith. They took us all out to dinner-we had a great time!

Stamp Simply Valentine

This weeks stamp simply challenge is to create a valentine! I think this might qualify as a valentine...

This card uses Lizzie Anne Designs set L'Amour (which is also on sale this week) and some Basic Grey paper-can't remember the name!

I stamped the bird on to the square and then again onto another piece, cut the body out, and adhered on top of the original stamped image. I realllly like the stark contrast of the black on white, so I opted to not to color it in.

Hip Hop, back home! and LOTS of pictures....

Hip hop everyone!! While it's nice to be with all of your friends and family at CHA, it's also nice to be home. :)

This card....looks as if it was photographed in black and white. But it really is that Grey I guess!!

Today's theme was "masculine", and with my normal being behind a tad, I also paired it with CAS, and quick like!

My soccer game was canceled last night, (thankfully, 11 pm was just too late to play!) so I am getting all caught up on blog posts!

I am on my way down to Anaheim and soooo looking forward to a break!

Stamp Simply modernized

For this weeks stamp simply challenge, we were to go with a modern edge. I am hoping this is open to interpretation...I went with a modern layout. ;)

Hip HOP party people!

Well....it's the last hip hop before I head out to ANAHEIM. Yes, I am a tad excited and looking forward to it. ;)

My first card uses the Hambly prints paper 'woodgrain' and the owls which will be soon available as a single.


My second card uses that adorable Jessica Rose image Boom". I stamped the image in black on to the white frame, and then again in red several times. I cut the text box out and mounted it with pop dots, and then the heart and the words as well. The turtles are also cut and popped up- love this one! added some MAMBI bling and some SU ribbon-

October Afternoon time!

It's another JacksonBelle Tuesday!!

This week we are showcasing October Afternoon! They have some of the best product out there- love their papers!

My card today uses the detours collection. I stamped the background using the smallest flower from the set. I stamped the largest and then covered it in shimmerz- that stuff makes every thing glittery!! I am feeling a bit summery as well- tired of the cold- looking forward to Anaheim this weekend!

The patterned paper is also from the detours collection and matches this years "in" colors pretty spot on.

This one is next on my list to get! ;)

It's another monday challenge chicks sort of day and today's challenge was "flocking".

Thanks Buck for thinking of sheep. ;) I was stumped on what I was going to use my white flock on!! I am a little scatterbrained this week it seems!!

This sheep is one of LAD newest releases- in the nursery. and minimal coloring in is always awesome! I stamped the sheep with memento and flocked him. and I *finally* used my labels nesties!!

Well....I wasn't sure on this one!! lol, but here is my take on Sharon's challenge this week!! Senior Citizens Rule!

I went with my new tea pot from Lizzie Anne's release last week-while it may or may not be senior citizen worthy- I love it! I paper pieced the tea pot, and cut out the lid with my hobby blade. yikes- not an easy task!

It's that time again!
This weeks new releases are super also!! I however, went with the KOM. I have been itching to ink up Jeanne's new stamp and make some simple note cards with it!

And as the Valentine nears us, I whipped up a few to have on hand!
The first, uses the new Bitterweet from Basic Grey and the love stamp.

The second- (Jeanne's grass) is stamped on Kraft with Kiwi ink.
and the last uses Jeanne's distressed swirl at the top with those cute little heart flowers covered in stickles!

Tuesday's with JacksonBelle!!

This weeks JBelle challenge was to use NEW! new it is-New paper, and accessories!! New Year, new stuff-
I used the newest Basic Grey bittersweet and some brand new shimmerz blingz in hotty pink! Wow- this stuff is fun...I even painted the edges of my card with it- it dries quick!

I covered my chipboard heart with the shimmerz- quick and easy, and tied it on with some may arts ribbon. (I think I overuse this stuff!) It goes with everything!
Then I added a few dew drops-

Vacation is the theme for today-

I went with a scrappy styled card, a little out of my normal element- but always fun to do once in a while, plus I figured time to use up those kits I pay for! ;)

Stamp SImply time-#69

Well, it's definitely still winter here!
Today's Stamp Simply Challenge is to make a winter card- nothing more winter like than sparkly snowflakes. Needed to brighten up my card though- lots of red! The patterned paper is from October Afternoon, and the ribbon is SU!


The snowflake is from Septembers KOM over at Unity, as is the sentiment. I stamped the snowflake with white craft ink and covered it with II embossing powder. The brads are from deja views.

The second card uses none other than the fabulous Basic Grey- colored my lamp in with the colors from the paper- love that combo!

Day 3 of LAD Sneaks!

A few more sneak peeks for you! Tonight is the release party over in the LAD forums- make sure to stop in!!

Today's cards are using new singles- With Sympathy and Happy Birthday.

The first is actually one of my favorite cards in a while- usually sympathy cards are not fun to make-
Went with a clean black and white color scheme. The paper is American Crafts.

The second is again, a simpler styled card ;)
I stamped the flower from Le Jardin 4 times, and cut each layer, mounted with pop dots, and painted with angel wings Shimmerz. I stamped the sentiment in baja and pierced around the edges, mounted the mats with pop dots again.

Quick post today- It's day 2 of the sneak peeks from Lizzie Anne today-today's card uses the In the Nursery set. This is a fun set to work with-
I stamped all 3 images on neenah white cut from my nesties- the cow was colored in with a copic marker. The paper is October Afternoon, and the buttons- SU!

Happy Tuesday- today ALL kids are back in school! It's a beautiful thing! :)

Today I have a few sneak peeks of some new Lizzie Anne Designs being released on friday!!!

The first one uses the new Hoppy Easter simply single. I am lovin' this bunny!! I went with outlining her with a copic and colored in the egg. The paper is Cosmo and pink piroutte.

and the second uses the little bits set Welcome home- this is a fabulous set! My mom is in real estate- this set will come in handy! ;)

Monday Challenge Chicks- inside and out

I am slow going this morning...My camera would not cooperate and of course I got started on my card late! ;)

Today's challenge was to make a card inside and out- I went with a thank you theme- need a lot of those lately!!

My card uses Giggle Grove- the tree is stamped on the card, and then on scratch paper, cut, colored in, and mounted with pop dots. I used the MS butterfly punch and adhered them so their wings are popped up as well- Can you tell I am ready fro spring?!? ;)


My son heads back to school this am, (despite the attempt from the snow last night!) Woohoo for a routine again!
