Thank You Samantha Waker style

Happy Friday- it's FWF and Stamp Simply!

Today's stamp simply challenge is all about CAS!!
Tis the Season for Clean and Simple-Clean and Simple is definitely the way to go when we need to mass produce. But it's also a very refreshing and pleasing style to fall back on any time at all.  Something easy to mass produce....

So...Sharon mentioned Christmas or Winter in mind and I sort of went with Christmas!

So follow me here... Christmas needs thank you's, and what better way to prepare but by having batches ready to go prior to the start!  ;)

Yes, I am reaching.

I went with a set of very clean and simple thank you's in fun colors made with my Spellbinders™ dies.  The stamp are Samantha Walkers's Build a damask, and the twine is from the twinery.

Use Key word ssnotime166 for those who upload to SCS.

Flip Flop Hip HOP!

It's that time again, Flip Flop Hip Hop!

The Unity & Ippity Teams are switching stamps for the day...

*also* in honor of breast cancer awareness month-

Unity is going to donate $.25 cents to the Susan G. Komen foundation for EVERY SINGLE NEW FACEBOOK fan that they acquire starting at MIDNIGHT NIGHT Wednesday going through Thursday at Midnight.  Head over and "like" if you haven't already!

I used the "right where you should be" set, and the ippity paper- Echo park.
I think it's safe to say that I certainly prefer Kraft!  I am not sure if I am liking this card...maybe Kraft would make it work!
And by now hopefully you have heard the chatter- Unity is now co branding with Jillibean and making some fabby stamps!
I adore that snowman image!!

and then a fun colored Christmas tag-
make sure to head on over to the SCS forum
and chat it up- we have stamps to give away!!

Wishing you a blessed birthday

I have MORE birthdays a coming and I am still in need of a few more birthday cards!
I was hoping to be able to whip out a few more Halloween projects this week... here's to tomorrow.

This one is a fun colored one- happy cheery cards are always good to have on hand.

I used a Big Scalloped circle dies from Spellbinders for the base of the card.  I used the standard circles for the inner circle.  The sentiment is of course Unity.  ;)

I think I may do a mini mass production line of birthday cards once I find the design best suited for it.  Then I will be ready for any birthday that sneaks up on me, because they ALL are lately!

Happy Hip Hop!

 Hip Hop Party People!!

Today's theme is grateful/thankful projects...I had big plans for a project, but I could only muster up a card this week!

First up- my WCMD Challenge WINNER!!!

You have won an Itty Bitty for USCWCMD01- Paper Piecing Challenge-
Email Jimmi.Mayo@gmail.com and let her know please!

My Thankful card- Stamps are Samantha Walker's Fall Family Memories.   I used Kazan's sketch from 2S4Y this week, and decided on a little purple in my colors...I don't usually use much purple, but am lovin' how it turned it out!  The dies are from Spellbinders™, and I colored the rhinestones with my copic to match better.  The twine is from the Twinery- in lilac.

And Unity is sponsoring the Play Date Cafe Challenge blog this week- Check out the colors and play along.   There are prizes up for grabs!
Here is my take on it-
I used a little black to make the colors pop.  Again-twine from the twinery, Spellbinders dies, and DD & KOM stamps from Unity.

This week, the designers joining us are most of the Spellbinders and Caardvarks design teams!

So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog!

I finally got to make one of these cute little gift bags I have seen every where.  I think packaging makes all the difference!
For my project I used the adorable little snowman from the Vintage Christmas set and the sentiment is from Christmas Nested Sentiments and Verse.  I can't wait to fill this up with some home made caramels.  The sentiment is cut with a Spellbinders™ S5-025 labels seventeen and secured on with a melissa frances button and silver cord.

The snowman is cut from a S4-114 Standard circles large and adhered to another labels seventeen.  I colored him with copics and mounted him with foam squares to the label shape.

Here is a little close up of my snowman...I added a little glitter to his hat and the various snowflakes around him, and added rhinestones to each side of the label shape.

Please visit these designers’ blogs to see what fabulous JustRite Christmas inspiration they have for you on the hop today!

Happy Friday!

Friday's mean-
Stamp Simply
and today a blog candy winner!

So- Kristi email jimmipm@msn.com and let her know you won the Suzi Blu single!!

On to Sharon's Challenge-
Today we are thinking *hard rocks*  Think metals and stones as added elements for your project.

I went with a metal edge tag! I haven't used one in a while and thought it was the perfect time!  I have been on a rhinestone kick lately, and that didn't seem like much of a challenge to use them! ;)

It's a little hard to see, but I layered a strip of white cut out with the S4-239 Classic Scalloped Border Petites onto the MMW paper, then adhered the circle.
I stamped the ring and then covered it with stickles for a little more added blingage, then tied it on with some silver cord.

The stamps are Unity's Soirees and Such, the paper is MME, and the dies are Spellbinders™

Halloween Hip Hop!!

Hip to the Hop!!
*for my flourishes release post, scroll down*

It's another fabulous Hip Hop day here at Unity!!
I have a fun little project I did a while back revisited in a Halloween theme!

I did an Easter themed treat holder similar to this earlier this year and thought how cute it would be dressed in Halloween colors!!   I only managed to get two done while I had larger ambitions. ;)  (always the case, right?)

Here is a close up of the orange one with a spider web tag.  Stamps are Samantha Walkers Bones about Halloween and Halloween Traditions by Unity.  I colored over the web with the a Spica pen.
The new website is coming-soon- I will link up when it goes live!

Here is a close up of the purple one- The paper is from My Minds Eye.  I also added sparkles from an Atyou Spica pen over the trick or treat sentiment, and added gems from Kaiser.

Here a view of the insides- you can use double sided paper so that the inside is just as pretty as the outside, or just fill it full of good stuff and nobody will care what the inside looks like! ;)

And here is the fabulous little fillers that are inside- Jelly Bellies in fabulous purple and orange!

also- *speaking of candy*
I have a fun Suzi Blue Cupcake Fairy single for you today- leave me a comment telling me your favorite Halloween Candy is!

Happy Holidays- Flourishes sneak peek!

Today, Flourishes is sneak peaking a brand new set called, A Gift for You, and some of the Spellbinders’ team is joining them in the fun! This set was designed not only to coordinate with some of Flourishes best-selling Christmas stamp sets but with more than a handful of Spellbinders Template Dies!

For my first card, I used the fabulous S4-290 Labels Fourteen with the new coordinating image from A Gift for you.  I stamped the framed image in rich cocoa memento ink, and colored in with my copics.  I highlighted areas with the Spica Atyou pen also.   The paper is Cosmo, and the gems are Kaiser.

For my tag, I used the S4-250 Big Scalloped Circles Small for the red scalloped layer, S4-116 Standard circles small for the center circle, and the S4-255 Big Scalloped Rectangles Large for the actual tag shape.
I tied on some red bakers twine around the tag, and finished off the ribbon with it as well.  The whole thing is topped off with a few fabulous gems from Kaiser.

Would you like to win this set? Simply leave us a comment here on this post!  Flourishes will draw a winner and announce this coming Saturday in their Winner's Circle on their blog!

If a peek didn't whet your appetite enough, head on over to see what some of the Spellbinders and Flourishes designers whipped up today.

Today is the day

Happy Monday-

Another fabulously busy weekend flown by, and off to another fun filled crazy week!

I decided to play along with the Case Study challenge blog- I recently stumbled upon this challenge and thought it was fun- whenever you are in a slump, casing someone can get the juices flowing.

I decided to go a different direction than the leaves all the samples had- I loved the color palette, and thought clouds would work...these clouds are fun happy cheery clouds!  In lieu of a flower, I stamped another cloud, cut it out and mounted it with a pop dot.

The sentiment is from the brave girls set, and the clouds are KOM, die is from Spellbinders™

Stampin' Store kit time

Short post today- it's the Stampin' Store kit post over on the Unity blog, so I thought I would share here my quick card I made!

It's hard to see in the photo, but I embossed the white rectangle with my impressabilities™ and then layered the clock image rectangle onto it.  The paper is pink paislee.  Not my normal color palette, must be 'work out of your comfort zone day' today.

I like this clock image- I could imagine a belated brithday sentiment mixed with it!!

This is the first Saturday in a long while with NO plans on the agenda!  I am sort of looking forward to possibly doing nothing...
all day.
'cept maybe some craftin' with the girl later! ;)

Thankful...for Friday

Happy Friday!

That means Stamp Simply time,
*and* more importantly... tomorrow is

Today's Stamp Simply Challenge is back to Nature...I love how open these challenges can be.
I decided on a fall color palette since it's everywhere you look lately!

I have always loved these simple little wheat grass looking like grass- so I bundled a little piece up for my card.  I used Curry and Espresso for my colors with a hint of KRAFT! ;) love my Kraft!  I really wanted to add a bit of zing, pearls or some rhinestone, but wasn't sure if it would work with the theme-

The sentiment is from the September KOM and the dies are from Spellbinders™ Pretty

Anyone is welcome and invited to play!  SCS Keyword is ssnotime160 for those who upload at SCS.

Hope you aren't sick of Halloween...

Hip to the Hop!

Today, again, I have another Halloween card for you!!
shocking, I know! ;)

This is the Bones about Halloween set by Samantha Walker again.  I just adore these spiders...which is so odd because in real life I cry and scream like a little girl when one slips inside the house! ;)

This one is definitely a fave of mine this season! :)  The edge is done using a Spellbinders™ Classic Scalloped borderabilites petite, and I finished it all off with some orange thread.

Who wants some free rubber???

I have this to give away...

happy hump day!

another quickie Halloween tag for you today- this time using the Samantha Walker sets Bones about Halloween and Halloween Traditions.

I used the new Labels Fifteen from Spellbinders™ for the Kraft base, and cut another out with green cardstock.
I trimmed the green down to just the mid section.  From the backside I added some gathered ribbon and then attached to the tag.  I wrapped some fabulous twine around several times and secured my Halloween tag.

This little bat isn't so scary now. ;)  This is ready to go on any last minute treat sack or bottle o' wine I need to drop by for the upcoming Halloween holiday!

Monday Monday....

I didn't get to make one card over this World Card making Holiday.  Apparently, our soccer league does NOT first consult Paper Crafts Mag when scheduling jamborees.  ;)

Lauren did manage to score 7 goals during 2 of the games though...totally worth it!

Oh well...I did manage to whip out a fun little Halloween gift tag-

I do so enjoy Halloween... must be the colors and tricking and treating!

This is the fun little Halloween tag using the set Boo (by Asela Hopkins) from Gina K Designs.  (I fell in love with that banner!!)

I may make a few more fun tags if time permits...It is right around the corner....  I should probably be working on Christmas already!
