Thank you, Spellbinders Paper Arts, for sponsoring this contest!

I’m thrilled to share S5-028 Nested Pennants and S5-029 Lacey Nested Pennants with you...

Here is a banner I created using both sets.

With your dies templates facing cutting side up on your base plate, place your paper over them.  You can cut both die templates at the same time in the Grand Calibur.

Build the cutting sandwich in this order: A-Base Plate, Die Templates (cut side facing up), paper, and C-Cutting Plate.

You can cut all the circles and flags at the same time.  The mats are 8 1/2 x 11 3/4", that's a lot of room to cut a lot of die templates at once!

Here the circles are cut and embossed.  I adhered the letter stickers first to the cream circles.

I then adhered the rest to each other with 3D foam squares.

To begin putting the banner together, lay out your ribbon.  Place a piece of double sided tape on the top of the pennant and secure to the ribbon.

I then placed the smaller flags onto the ribbon on both sides of the pennant with Glue Dots.

Then following the same step as before, place double sided tape at the top of your pennant.  Repeat until all pennants and flags are adhered.

I then added my patterned paper pennants onto the banner.

The letters lined up ready to be adhered.

Using foam squares, attach each circles to each pennant.

I also created a layout using the smallest of both pennants at the top, and the ribbons to journal onto.

AJ,
Loved your Baby banner. I just hope that they also plan to make these in the Grand size. I have made several banners now and find that at least 9 inches works best when using them as wall decor. These are great sizes for all our scrapbooking and cards thou, which is probably what they had in mind.
