Thank you, Spellbinders Paper Arts, for sponsoring this contest!
I’m thrilled to share two projects using LF-010 Square Bracket Edge Box and S5-067 Anemone Flower Topper with you...
I just knew when I saw these fabulous box templates, the possibilities were endless. Wedding favors, birthday gifts, party favors, ADVENT calendars!
And the flowers with their separated edges- fabulous! They reminded me of a poinsettia when used in Christmas colors.
Place your LF-010 Square Bracket Edge Box, S5-067 Anemone Flower Topper, and the S4-346 Labels Twenty-Two die templates cutting edge up on your Base Plate. You can cut/emboss a whole box with each pass using your Grand Calibur™ machine.
Remember to place your card stock or patterned paper face down onto your die templates.
Leaving all your dies in tact, remove the Cutting Plate. Place the Embossing Pad down, then Embossing Plate and run through your Spellbinders Grand Calibur die cutting machine.
Your dies are now pre-scored and ready to assemble.
Fold up on the score lines. Fold each side up, and then fold the tabs over.
Place dies face side up, and place strong double-sided adhesive on the tabs.
Remove the adhesive backing and start folding each side down to meet the corresponding tab on the next side and secure. Repeat with all side until your top is completed.
For the bottom of the box, again, fold each side to meet the corresponding tab from the next side and secure. Repeat until box is completed.
Stamp each number of the twenty five days onto each circle die cut, using alternating inks. Attach each circle die cut to each Labels Twenty-Two die cut with a 3D Foam Square. To attach the numbered label shape to your box, place a strip of double-sided adhesive on the top edge of the S4-346 Labels Twenty-Two die cut and remove. Adhere to the bottom edge of the box top.
Here's a few more close ups of all the boxes.
To assemble the card, die cut/emboss your S4-346 Labels Twenty-Two die templates, S5-067 Anemone Flower Topper die templates, and the S4-116 Standard Circles SM die templates. I used two layers on both of the flowers, you will need to cut/emboss them each twice with the same paper.
Again leaving the die templates intact, place Embossing Pad and Embossing Plate on top and run through your Grand Calibur machine.
To make the sentiment fit inside the circle, I inked one word at a time and stamped them on top of each other.
Take each corner of your flower die cut, and curl the ends up to separate from the edge. Repeat with all four flower die cuts.
Place each flower on top of another using 3D Foam Squares, alternating points. Attach sentiment in the center also with a foam square.
Here are the dies I introduced:
LF-010 Square Bracket Edge Box

DIE SIZES:

My second project for you, here it is as a gift box filled with a special treat inside. I embossed the LF-010 Square Bracket Edge Box die template with the I2-1009 Flourish Impressabilties. A layer of the S5-067 Flower Anemone Toppers are secured on top.
I attached the flower to a band that slides around the box. You can easily fit four of the Ghirardelli chocolates inside.
