Well....
I had great intentions. A card started, with this image even...and then it happened. Life that is.
It's DEFINITELY CHA week. Kids, homework, dinners, groceries, pta meetings, radiation, skate night, dr appt's, husbands working OT, class room time, play dates, birthday parties, chemo, book club, laundry, more groceries, soccer, more soccer, (we play too!;) I think you get the point. ;)

snowfall
HOLY smokes.. in like 4 day I leave for LA and I am not quite ready...
I like to get the house ready for my husband so it's not too much work for him- but that may not happen this time!! My calendar is sort of filled for the week...including a middle school showcase to go to Thursday. I am NOT ready for my son to go to middle school... and I don't think he is either!!
Here's a layout I made for Spellbinders a while back and haven't yet shared...
I just love this one. It happens to be one of my favorite layouts. Not sure why- Might be the picture. Or the white space...anyhow-
The letters, snowball (In the mitten) and snowflake are covered in that chunky glitter. Lauren was about 3 in this photo- it makes me think how fast they are growing up! I am hoping to get more scrapping in this year, even if I don't share it here, but for me and my kids to enjoy!!

hello hello...it's Thursday again! Time for a little hip hop action today!
And with CHA just a week away...I think there may be a few sneak peek images out there in the hop today...check for yourself! ;)
I used one of the new Bella BLVD images for my card today- It coordinates with the Family Dynamix line also debuting next week.
I created my card using my #6 labels seventeen die. The frame was made using the #4 and #5 dies and some American Crafts paper. I stamped the image onto the white layer, then popped up the frame around it.
It's a quick and cute card ready to go- I actually have cousins who just put an offer in on their first home- fingers crossed for them!

We are ALL home today with nothing to do which is nice since the last few weeks and the weeks ahead seem to be already over booked!
Thought I would share this layout of my fabby kids! It's so nice when they actually let you get a picture of them appearing to love each other! :)
I was able to make that scalloped circle from using my Grand Calibur and the LF-114 Grand Circles; LF-124 Grand Scalloped Circles from Spellbinders™.
Place your Grand Scalloped Circles cutting side up on your base plate, then place the Grand Circles (inside the scalloped one) also cutting side up, and place the patterned paper over, cutting plate on top, then run through!
Repeat using embossing pad and embossing plate. This is one of my favorite ways to use them-
enjoy!

And, since I can...I used my new S5-029 Lacey Nested Pennants again today! HOW cute are those fabulous banners?!? The sentiment is from the January KOM. Can you tell I am in a CAS mode today...I simply cut the banners out and popped them up with foam squares.

it's FWF and woo hooo for friday. I am exhausted. I think I mentioned that yesterday as well- it's been one of those LONG weeks! Saturday can't come fast enough and I WILL SLEEP IN! ;)
I decided on a little birthday card today...
I have been pulling out my older KOM and using them lately- This one uses the August 2010 All you need kit (Which appears to be on sale today! :) for the diamond background and the sentiment is from the July 2010 kit Happily ever after.

Today I am using the Stamp TV kit 'Sent with love'. This is ONE amazing kit. I went a little clean and simple on my first card. I really like the flowers in black and white-
Next up, with Valentines day right around the corner I made a little treat holder. You could fill this with little gumballs, or the adorable conversation hearts as well. I colored a few of the hearts with various pink copics and added some glitter for fun.

First up is a fun birthday card using the new set Dino-Mite by Theresa Momber. I used the stamp tv video on images beyond the border to make his tail pop out. Some times you just don't want to go a size up on a die- great video!
These dino-mite images are just adorable! And the "friendosaurus" will get used often! ;) Here's a clean and simple card using the adorable T-Rex image! I cut him out and mounted him onto the circle using foam tape.
