The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!!
Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!
My first card uses Tami's new Grand Tags set. I have a quick tip showing how I used this stamp with the Labels Twenty Two die set from Spellbinders to get an evenly spaced image on my die cut.
I find that stamping the image onto your paper first, then placing the die on the paper will always produce a perfectly centered image. (Just make sure to flip back over when running through your Grand Calibur™) Using removable tape to hold the die in place while cutting. Here you can see the stamped image, and then a blue circle over the middle- I have my most commonly used dies pre cut so I can measure whether it will fit an image or sentiment on any item I am working on. Here I want to use a white circle in the middle for my sentiment, so I am measuring which one fits. This circle is too large, so I try the next one down in size.
Here you can see I Have the correct circle. The die number is written on my circle so I can quickly find it and rub both through at the same time.
For my next card, I am using Melanies fun new border set, Pretty Patterns. Patterns are my favorite type of stamp. They are so versatile and timeless. I lean towards circles, so I picked that to work with. The main border alone is great, but paired up with the circle fillers and outlines, the possibilities are endless. And in clear, a snap to line everything up!
