Let's Catch Up

Wow, June 1st.  Where does the time go?!  The first few months of this year have F L O W N by!  Kids will be out of school shortly and bring on the SUMMER break!! :)

My card for today uses the June AA set Let's Catch Up.

I thought this tree was so cute with it's little speech bubbles.  I stamped the abc HI sentiment inside one of the bubbles and left the rest.  Didn't want to lost it by adding to much else.
I added the sentiment and some pearls and done!  ;)

Today marks an end to some of our current ladies- This is Kimberly and Julia's last post with us, while we are sad to see them go, we know they have lots of awesome things ahead and won't be far!

Gina K Designs May Release party invite

For my card,  I first covered the card front with some My Minds Eye patterned paper.  Then, I used the Spellbinders S5-094 Labels and Tags to make the tickets, (the outline fits just perfectly on them!) and I popped each one up with some 3D Foam Squares.

Happy Fathers Day

It's sneaking up on us, but will be here sooner than you think!
Avocado Arts group post today sharing projects using the new June set, Let's Catch Up.

I love the fun little bow tie in this set, isn't it cute?  I stamped the background several times first, then popped up the circles with 3D Foam Squares, and added some Want2Scrap bling.  Quick card, masculine enough, (even with the bling) and easy enough to reproduce for a few more men in our lives!

Long time no post- I guess I have been crazy busy with dr's appointments again.  And even more scheduled this week-
I did squeeze in a quick card for the CAS-ual friday challenge though-

The challenge- CFC53 is to use punches or dies.  Easy peasy- I have a few of those lying around!
I die cut the turquoise frame and adhered it to the white layer, which is popped up with 3D Foam squares.

I then stamped the flower on to a white layer beneath, and added the Want2Scrap bling.

You make me smile

It's the 15th, so it's the BIG group post today from ALL the pit crew members!  Today we are sharing projects using the May set Thoughts and Smiles and sneaks of the upcoming June set!

I started by stamping the background image (From the June set) onto my card front, and added some Washi tape as well.  I don't use that stuff nearly as much as I should!  ;)
I love that fun chicken wire image- I stamped it like a frame,  then stamped the tag and sentiment, an popped it up with 3D foam squares.

Happy Birthday

Playing along with the Birthday challenge over at CAS-ual Friday's.

I love CAS cards- and love that this whole challenge blog is dedicated to them! 

I started with the new S5-095 Tags and Flags dies from Becky Fleck for Spellbinders and die cut four pieces of patterned paper.  I popped them up on my white layer which is also popped up with 3D Foam Squares.  The sentiment is from Avocado Arts, bling is from Want2Scrap.

I made a small ensemble for Mother's Day this coming weekend with a new Trapezoid box found at Samantha Walker's Silhouette die cut store.  The cards are from a free download for this months giveaway.

 Here's a close up of the flower, and the center with some bling from Want2Scrap.

 When you use double sided patterned paper, the inside is decorated also- love that!  (paper is from Samantha's line over at Creative Imaginations)

 Both my Notch cards- I cut these out using the same patterned paper, reversing the sides.

 For the patterned one, I left the inside blank. (After covering the inside red with white card stock to write on)  I can write my message and slip some photos of the kids inside.

 For the red one, I also adhered white card stock to the inside, and then I used one of Samantha's tags with a stamped sentiment from her Ornate Artisan Stackers set from Unity.

Here's the whole ensemble again- It's ready to fill with treats, photos, and lots of sentiments inside the cards!

This is from the One free with Three set One in a million.  I have already made a few different cards using the set, it has quite a few different sentiments- and while I readily admit my lack of coloring skills, these flowers are quite so intimidating to color! ;)

Sending Caring Thoughts

Happy May Day!

Today's the first, (OMG, where is this year going!??!)  And we are sharing projects from the May set, Thoughts and Smiles.

I decided to use the retro sketch #9 for my starting point- I stamped the chevron from the September set, and paired it with a sentiment from May's.  The flowers are cut and popped up with 3D foam Squares, and I finished it off with baby pearls from Want2Scrap.
