Happy Birthday
it's the 1st of July, that means Pit Crew time!
Another Quick fly by post-and another quick and cheery card. I stamped the letters inside the banners, cut them out and popped them up on 3D Foam Squares. The fabulous thing about clear stamps is their flexibility- that line bends just how you want it to!!

Happy almost July- this month has just flown by!!!
Quick fly post today as I am on vacation!! :) I used the new card creator sets from Spellbinders today for my card. I paper pieced the balloons with the same My Minds Eye paper the polka dotted frame is from.

Want2Scrap & Authentique Paper Inspiration Week!
Welcome to the Authentique Paper and Want2Scrap Inspiration Week!
For my card today, I used Authentiques Carefee collection. I stamped the butterflies onto the red side of the "Calm" piece of paper, and adhered it to my card. The sentiment is from the same itty bitty stamp from Authentique, and it is stamped on to the taupe side of the "Content" paper. I added a few Baby Bling pearls in white, and added a few pieces of the Beautiful Bling borders behind my rectangle panel as well as piece of the Swirls Finesse in Black to the upper left corner.

Happy Fathers Day times two...
Today is the group post day for Avocado Arts, we are all sharing projects using the June set, and I have a sneak of the July set.
It's *right* around the corner! Are your ready? Today I am sharing two cards, because really, you always have a father in law, or a brother, or grandfather, and one isn't enough.
So, while making one, I figured, why not just make two with the same supplies, it's not like the men in our lives go around comparing cards, right? I stayed with masculine colors and embellishments, and had to fight the urge to pop some bling on it! :) The lines are from the July set, and not what they were intended for, but I like them as a background/border image!
I thought I would try using the same colors and stamps for this one, but wanted to add a pop of color that much patterned paper need to be lightened up a bit. I stamped the line image from July's set on the wood paper from Creative Imaginations (LOVE that stuff!) and added the button and flags, still no bling! ;)
And today marks Sav's last post with us, and while we will miss her dearly, she will definitely still be very close and creating just as much!

Samantha Walker Creative team hop!

For my first card, I used some of Samantha's newest Nautical line from Creative Imaginations and some Spellbinders dies. The sentiment is from one of the card stock sticker sheets. I love how retro the colors and design are in this line!
Here's a side view. I wrapped the purple strip around the keep it closed, and added the tag on with some twine and a button. Ready to deliver! :)

Carta Bella meets Gina K
I just got some of this fabulous paper and wanted to play with it, so I whipped up a quick card-
And now that it's complete, I am looking at it and thinking I don't like that ribbon on there...Ever make a card and decide you dislike something about it?
Any how, I love how thick and textured this paper is, it's so awesome. I think I'll need to play around some more with it some more and try a card with out this ribbon!!
The paper is the Beautiful Moments collection, The die is from Spellbinders, Labels Twenty-Five, the ink is Cookie Dough from ColorBox, (anyone else LO V E their die inks?!) and it's all held together with some E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. And the stamps are of course Gina's newest Stamp TV kit, Hello Sunshine.

First up for today is a card using the new Birthday Greetings set. You can pair up sentiments for the inside and outside of the card.
And the Hello Sunshine stamp TV kit is full of awesome flowers! I love these- I wanted a piece of patterned paper for the left side of my card, but couldn't find one that matched my color scheme, so I made my own with the polka dot image from the kit.
Another Hello Sunshine card- those fun star burst like flowers are awesome! I see lots of backgrounds being made with them! I stamped off the flower first so it wouldn't overwhelm the sentiment.
And last up for today, is this months One free with 3- Life's a beach. I tore kraft layers to create my sandy beach, and stamped the star fish, sand dollars, and shells using the same ink as the paper.

And my second card uses Rupa's new set, Enjoy the Journey. So many vacation cards lately- Great time of year to have them on hand, lots of friends and families heading out on vacation soon. I decided on leaving most of the image uncolored to brighten up the card.

I am pretty excited about this card- mostly because I plan on actually sending it from Hawaii! ;) Perfect timing that Melanie shared the Hawaiian flower- we have a secret family vacation planned there very soon! (kids don't know yet!) This set is the new Stately Flowers 4 from Melanie- I used the LF-001 Spellbinders Creative Book pages for my card base, and embossed the front with the EL-004 Imperial M-Bossabilites.
I stamped the both sizes of the flower onto the white layer, and then stamped the sentiment.
