And what's a sale with out a few cards as well to share?  And if protesting fall wasn't enough, now we are onto winter already!  Sheesh, I want summer to stick around a bit more please!
My first one uses the ADORABLE Wishing you Joy duo- I just love that penguin.

My second card uses the even more adorable snowman- I just have a small adoration for snowmen, love them!  This guy is so cute- love his perfect little carrot nose and scarf.  Keeping both simple, I paired both cards with the new MME line Winter Wonderland, some copics, and Spellbinders dies.

Hi

hey hey~ today we are sharing projects using the new September set,  .

Well...Fall maybe coming, but I am resisting!  As much as I just LOVE the fall season, I am not ready for summer to be over.  We don't start school until next week, it seems like we just got our summer, and I personally am simply not ready to change gears!  ;)

That being said- the new September set is chock full of iconic late summer/fall images- and that's the direction I went with my card today.  I stamped the pumpkins in the green ink first, then with the orange onto scrap white cardstock and paper pieced the orange part out to create the two tone pumpkins.  I layered a bit of burlap behind the first nestabiliites square for some extra fall like flair before adhering it to the other die cuts and Carta Bella patterned paper.

a little catch up...

Oops...falling a wee behind posting here because of summer! ;)  the lat two weeks, I have been swamped with soccer tourneys and trying to soak up every last bit of summer.

Here's a card I shared over on the Want2Scrap blog a bit ago, trying to play catch up with my projects on here now~

The chipboard wings, Heart Nestabling, and black Baby Bling are all from Want2Scrap.  The dies and M-Bossabilities are from Spellbinders, sentiment from Unity.

I decided that the page map tag used here is my new favorite!  I cut a TON of them out and have them ready to go I use them so much!  LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

back to enjoying our last week of summer...the final countdown is on and I am a little sad to see them go back.  The upside mans a *teeny* bit more crafting time.  ;)

Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

First up today is a card using the new Sun Kissed Autumn Stamp TV kit.  This owl is just too cute, and paired up with the matching silhouette files, easy to cut and stamp on.  I love that! :)

For my second card today, I again used the coordinating cameo silhouette files for the leaves, and the Fall Foliage set.  Not being ready for fall at all- I almost protested using fall colors!  (We just got our summer not too long back here!! ;) I stamped the sentiment and then embossed the paper with my favorite M-Bossabilities folder before adding the pearls.

Make sure to check out the rest of the team and their great designs!

AA Group Post, and a giveaway!

It's the 15th, and that means the whole crew is posting today with fab new projects sharing this months set and a sneak of next months! :)
And, word on the street is there is a little give away happening as well.

I broke out the tree from this months set for today's card.  The sentiment and border image peaking out are both from next months set.  For my tree I stamped in a orange ink, then rolled it around a bit in the red.  Not that I am ready for fall, (especially since summer came SO late here in the Pacific Northwest)
but those trees are always my fave to see!

and about the giveaway-
Avocado Arts is giving away THREE of our stamp set minis, leave a comment here and on the ladies BLOGS for a chance to win one of these:

We'll select a winner on the 17th and post it to the AA blog and Facebook page.

My first card uses Becky's new American Made stamp set- Oh how I LOVE this background in this one.  L O V E.  It measures 5 3/4 X 2 1/8.  The perfect size for a card front!  I went with primary colors since this a teacher card.  And for my labels, I used the Cameo cuts that coordinate with the set! Love that!!  I then popped it up on a red labels die from Spellbinders.

This card uses Beth's debut set, Stippled Nature.  And again, used the cameo to cut out the apple and the stem, and then popped it up on my labels twelve die from Spellbinders.   There are a ton of fun images in this set- perfect for note cards!

The last card uses Tami's newest set, Lighthearted Wishes.  I just love the fun whimsical images in this set!

For my first card today, I am using Theresa's new set Country Roads.  I stamped the silhouette grass images twice in a soft pink behind the sentiment.

This second card uses Melanie's new set Basket Additions 3.  I thought these three could look like they were in a photo booth photo instead of a basket.  Plus, I sort of *love* Halloween.  It's my favorite for holiday card making! (I'm sure it ranks like the lowest for some sort of card sending record stats with hallmark, but it's still my fave!;)  I colored the ghost with a grey copic, and use a tad darker shade on the skeleton.  There all just too cute!

Samantha Walker Creative Team Hop

Welcome to our Samantha Walker Creative Team Monthly Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Cristal's blog, if not, head you can start at Samantha's blog!

Today I am sharing a quick mini book I made for my daughter's upcoming school year using Samantha's A to Z Collection, and some of her Spellbinders products.

My daughter definitely loves to craft, so I decided to make her her own mini book she can add to.  I cut the A to Z papers to 5 X 7 in size and either left them as is, or adhered them to another piece so that the colors were somewhat alternating.  The front uses some of the stickers also in the same collection.

I have left spaces for her to write in and fill in as she wants, for the things she wants to save or document.   On the right side, I used the negative from her S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents die set from Spellbinders.

Here on the left, I also used the Orchard Harvest dies.  On the right, I spelled her name out with the letter stickers.

I won't explain each photo since they're pretty self explanatory, here's a closer shot of the stickers and die layered onto each other.

On the right page, is the die from the Orchard Harvest set.

She has her main teacher, and a different math teacher, both are stickers as well.  On the right, the die cut is from the S5-072 Blossom Tags & Accents.

The frame is one LARGE sticker with a separate frame which I really liked, so I kept them together.  ;)

Here's a closer shot of the right side, here I embossed the striped patterned paper with the GI-004 Fancy Flourish Impressabilities.

and the back page.  I just used a simple ring to hold it together in case we need to add any more pages through out the year! ;)

This months prize is an Ooh La La French Frills stamp set from JustRite Stamps
