 My first card uses the brand spankin' new Stamp TV kit, Merry Little Christmas.  (It actually has two smaller sets in it!)  I couldn't decide which image to use first, so I cut out a bunch of them with my cameo, and started stamping away.  I have PLENTY of new card starts now!  My final card uses the adorable hanging pine cone image.  I love how the word Noel is incorporated into the design.

 This cards uses the second of the two sets- again, with the coordinating Cameo files to cut them all out with.  ;)  I love this wise men image, I wanted to keep the design fun, so I added the lighter blue strip to lighten it up a bit.

And lastly, the free with three set, Holiday Tags.  Yes, these are about the cutest little images EVER.
And slightly painful to color in since they are so small! ;)  Again, they are cut with the cutting files, and then stamped.  I covered Santa's beard with stickles so he is a bit sparkly.  The coordinating tags are so awesome, I am going to cut out a page at a time, and let my daughter create some holiday tags for the holiday by stamping and coloring them all in.  Maybe even wrap them in a tin for a gift...

 My first card uses Tami's new set  Simple Snowflakes.  I like the snowflakes. Like, a LOT!  That one, right above the T in thoughts, has to be the most perfect little snowflake ever!!  I will be using this set ALL winter!. 

 My second card uses Beth's new Deck the Halls and the coordinating cut files.  Makes creating fun little scenes such a breeze!  I chose to use the line with the loop up on top to mix it up.  I was in new to me home goods type of store, and these colors were everywhere for Christmas.  After stamping the light bulbs, I then liberally covered them with stickles. And that font!  another fab set.  ;)

And last but certainly not least, uses Becky's new set, Mistletoe Memories.  I also love the font on the sentiments in this one, and the text background is another new go to!  I can see this also being used quite a bit this holiday season!

Warm & Cozy

Today the pit crew is sharing cards using the November set Very Merry Season.



I don't know about you, but I am a little excited about the holidays this year.  Last year I was going through chemo, and we didn't get to do a lot of our normal stuff, decorations were minimal, shopping, wrapping, baking, etc. were all left to my husband, and when I could help, I did. I feel like I need to make up for lost time now!!
I think these stockings are just adorable, plus, they are perfect for paper piecing!  (I'm trying to use up all those dots and stripes pads before more come out!)  They would also be cute on fun little gift tags for all your presents under the tree!

 My first card today uses Stately Flowers 5 from Melanie.  I happen to love her Mistletoe image in this set- and love it stamped in green. 

My next card uses Theresa's new set Vogue Vases 2.  So many possibilities with this set, I can see paper piecing the vases, and popping them up.  But you can also just use the great floral images with sentiments as well.

and another...

More Halloween pumpkin cards- I didn't realize just how quick it was coming and I hadn't shared any of these-

A while back I made a batch of quicker Halloween cards to have on hand.  This one uses Avocado Arts, Spellbinders dies, and Want2Scrap Rhinestones.  I love-ity love love that back ground stamp, I couldn't stop using it when I first got it- time to pull it out again.

Halloween cards galore-

Since this is one of my favorite card making occasions, I happen to have quite a few to share before next week...

 This card uses one of Spellbinders new summer CHA releases, the Nested Tombstone and Spider Web.  The paper is Echo Park, sentiment is from Avocado Arts, and the gems are from Want2Scrap.

Pretty simple little shaped card, but I like it!

thanks for you support- pink ribbon style

I couldn't let October pass with out posting one Pink Ribbon card...just a quick little 4 x 4 card to share in between my Halloween madness to come! :)



Funny thing- I used to hate pink.  Then I had my daughter and I started to like it.  Now I am indifferent to it, but, it does have it's place this month. 

This set is from Paper Smooches, and it was of the first to have the "fight like a girl" sentiment I so love.  I had a few cards sent to me using this set with that same statement, they're still up on my bulletin board.  ;)

Spooky


I'm shared this card over on the Want2Scrap blog a bit ago- 



It's a reject- I submitted it somewhere ages ago.  I loved the idea of using Nina's Home Sweet Home as a haunted house, wasn't spooky enough though!! ;) I have a few more previously made Halloween cards to share- and soon, some new stuff- I spent a few hours this week playing around.  I'm about 1 month post op from my last surgery, and am leaning towards the feeling better side finally.  I didn't lose as much mobility as I did with my first several surgeries, so, crafting will be happening soon! :)

As frustrating as this whole long process is, I am pretty thankful we caught my cancer in it's earlier stages.  So, yes, you have heard it all month long EVERYWHERE you look being that's it's October, but stay vigilant and get checked!  and self examinations also.  My little psa for the month.  Because breast cancer sot of sucks. big time.  :)

Very Merry

It's the 15th, so the whole group is posting today! 






We are sharing sneak peaks of Novembers set today- I happen to just adore the font in the 'Christmas' image.  I will be using it over and over! I stamped the red border from the Borders & Sentiments set, and then adhered some non Christmas patterned paper.  A very mod Christmas it turned out to be!

Celebrate WCMD! #Worldcardmakingday


Happy Saturday! As much as I would LOVE to be home crafting the day away, that's not happening here!  We are off to two soccer games, (one of which is about 1 1/2 hours away) and a birthday party after them both.  I am thinking a run through the Starbucks drive through and I will be set! :)



I made this card a while ago, and haven't yet had a chance to show it.  I am still struggling to get crafty with my most recent surgery a few weeks back, so I am taking things slow around here and won't be sharing a whole lot of new for a while until I can get back into the swing of things!! 

For the confetti, I die cut several different sheets of patterned paper with my Basic Lattice expandable patterns die from Spellbinders, and use scooped up all the negatives.  I filled some loosely in the envelope, and adhered the rest individually.  The sentiment is from Avocado Arts, and the bling from Want2Scrap.

My WCMD festivities will just have to be held tomorrow.  Or maybe even in November if I can't get my arm to cooperate soon.   ;)

Thankful for you


 Happy Monday- Pit Crew share time with the October set, Gobble Til You Wobble.

 I am trying to get back into the swing of things around here, but it's just too hard still.  I am keeping it simple for now.  I was told this last surgery would take me quite a while to get back in the swing of things, and they were right!  I am amazed at how uncomfortable everything can be.  (I'm not very patient! ;)  

I went with a 4X4 sized card, some Lily Bee Harvest Market papers, Spellbinders, and of course my AA Stamps.
