Gina K Designs Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Hop day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Gina K. Designs/Faber-Castell Blog Hop!  We've got another incredible day of inspiration for you, so lets get started!

As you hop through the GKD blog, make sure to leave a comment, because each day a random comment will be chosen and that stamper will receive a Gina K. Designs stamp set of their choice (up to a $24.95 value)!

Pop over to the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a Designing With Gelatos Kit too!

For my card today, I thought I would create a background using the Gelatos®.  I simply used a ruler and colored along the edge alternating colors between Spearmint, & Red Cherry.  Now you can wet them to blend them together, but I like the stark contrast here, so I only did a very slight light sweep with my brush over them.
I then stamped my ewe and sentiment and adhered it to my card using 3D Foam Squares.  To add a little depth to my ewe, I colored him in with the white Aquarelle pencil, again not adding any water to the image.

Check out the others today as well-
