CFC92 Wallpaper

CFC92: Stamp your own background on your CAS creation.
Cards, tags, layouts, etc are all welcome!

I love stamping backgrounds- this challenge was so right up my alley! I am digging with new Lawn Fawn stamps for today's card using Cantaloupe, Teal Zeal,  & Sweet Plum Memento inks from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko.  I finished it off with a few sequins from our fabulous sponsor- Ellen Hutson.

This week's sponsor is Ellen Hutson and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to use in the Ellen Hutson store- Don't forget to find out what the other Girl Fridays came up with for this challenge and the challenge details at CAS-ual Fridays.

Guest Designing over at Authentique!

Today, I am sharing a few projects over on the Authentique blog!  Head on over to check them out!
I have one project here for you though-
Gift bags!  I love making little personalized gift bags for everything.  I have a stack of these adorable little lunch sacks that are about 3 X 6, and are perfect for little treat sacks stamped as is, or used more elaborately, sandwiched between some pretty patterned paper die cuts.

Here are two using Authentiques Renew collection.  (you can see the kraft bag peeking out of the side! ;)  I die cut the front and back pieces, then adhered the bag to the inside.  Add a little ribbon at the top and it's time to decorate!

I can't get over the color combo on the floral piece- LOVE that blue and yellow together.
I am using it on everything!  This bag uses some of Authentiques stickers found in the Renew Collection Kit along with a few more die cuts.

The bee square is a sticker I popped up with 3D Foam Squares before adding to the square die cut.  Head on over to the Authentque blog to see a few other projects I made using their awesome papers!

:) Enjoy!

Thinking of you

Happy Friday!!

I cleaned my office yesterday, and found my desk.  I hadn't seen it, (or the floor! ;) for quite a while.  Perfect opportunity to whip up a quick card for a few challenges today!

I used Clean & Simples FTL229, and followed along with CFC91 Hi Ho Silver for the colors.
I haven't played in a challenge for a while, not made a card just for fun- I definitely intend to change that this year!
I used some brushed silver cardstock from my stash (I think it's SU!) along with my new most favorite Spellbinders die, curved matting basics.  The heart die is also Spellbinders, Becky Fleck's line I believe.  The stamps are from Hero Arts, and the gems from Want2Scrap.

This uses their newest set Baby Love.  I used the banner shape and paper pieced the patterned paper and adhered them to the card.  I framed the 'HI' and popped it up with 3D Foam Squares.  I then hand stitched across with black thread.

A new release to DIE for from The Greeting Farm

**This is one of three posts for today- You can find my CardMaker Blog post HERE, and my Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L HERE.

Happy Friday!
The Greeting Farm is moving in a NEW direction, and we are so excited to unveil what you may have seen bits and pieces of after CHA!  Yes, the rumors are true!  While TGF will still continue to bring you the cute characters you've come to know and love, I'm excited to share a new collection of clear stamp sets that come packaged with....drumroll...... MATCHING DIES!

TGF took its time testing them until they found the perfect fit and we think you will love them!  They will work in any standard die cutting machine (Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Grand Calibur, etc.) and come tucked in with their matching stamp sets for an amazing price of only $10.50 per set!  Your papercrafting adventure just got a little more exciting, right?  The possibilities with these sets are endless and you'll see just what we're talking about when you hop with us today!

To celebrate this exciting news, The Greeting Farm is allowing me, and several other of my very amazingly talented friends to participate in this event!

I used the Mini Cupcakes w/die, Mini Flower w/ die, Mini Clouds w/die, & the Mini Butterflies w/die today for my cards.

First up is one of my favorites of the group.  I die cut the flower, stamped it in red and orange and popped it up onto my tag with some fussy cut leaves.  The tag is also popped up with 3D Foam Squares.

For this card, I stamped the 3 flowers directly onto the card.  I popped the last one up with 3D Foam Squares and finished it off with a gem.

The next two cards use the Mini Cupcake set.  Adorbs!  Fun little toppers and bottoms with a cut little saying!  For this card, I kept it simple and simply die cut 3 cupcakes from patterned paper.

Here I stamped the orange top and bottom blue onto the die cut which is popped up with 3D Foam Squares.   I finished it off by wrapping the sentiment around the square.

And this is a close runner up to my second favorite card, if not a full tie!  I stamped the little hearts from the Mini Cloud set onto an embossed piece of card stock. The sentiment is adhered with 3D Foam Squares. (are you sensing a theme? ;)

these hearts fit into the dots perfectly!

I saw a card on pinterest a while back that used ribbons like a rainbow, and it seemed like such a fun idea!  Here I adhered the ribbons down, and popped the clouds up with 3d Foam Squares.

And last, but not least, I would imagine my dear friend Jessica's fave set of them all is the Mini Butterflies.  Yes, I think I could use these everyday and never grow tired of them!

Again, some simple stamping and popping up of dies with 3D Foam Squares here.  I think this may be my favorite set as well! ;)

Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm's blog once you complete the hop and enter for your chance to win ALL FOUR new stamp/die sets!  We cannot wait to see all of the super creative ways you are going to be able to use these new sets and will keep this contest open until NOON CST tomorrow so grab some snacks, have fun getting inspired on our hop and enjoy our new release that is simply, to "Die" for!

 enjoy!

Sweet Stamp Shop Release time

It's release time over at Sweet Stamp Shop and they have graciously allowed several guest designers this month to join in!  Make sure to head on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog to check out all the details!

For my card today, I am using the new Baby Love set.  I stamped my background using the clothes pin in pink- making sure to alternate ends and directions with no real rhyme or reason other than to be somewhat random and unified looking.  I stamped the baby onto a Spellbinders die, and popped it up onto the pink die cut before adhering to the card.  In lieu of coloring in the baby, I adhered a pink rhinestone to top of the image.  I spelled out welcome using some letter stickers.

Make sure to head on over to the Sweet Stamp Shop blog and check out all the other sets they are releasing today as well as tomorrow!!

CardMaker and Basic Grey blog hop

Welcome to the CardMaker Basic Grey  blog hop!   You should have arrived here from the CardMaker blog, if not head on back and start from the beginning so you don't miss a thing!

I LOVE patterned paper. L O V E  it.  And Basic Grey was one of my FIRST patterned paper loves. I was pretty stoked when I saw we were hopping with Basic Grey, I mean who doesn't LOVE their paper!?  And embellishments.  swoon.

I couldn't decide what to use first, so I made several cards! ;)  All use the 6 X 6 True Love paper pad, and coordinating stickers, flair, and chipboard.  I adhered the patterned paper to the card front, stamped a sentiment, and attached a small chipboard heart.  The larger heart is adhered to a Spellbinder die cut, and attach to the card with 3D Foam Squares.

This next card is my favorite of them all. I am in LOVE with those fabulous little flair stickers!  They are so fun- I couldn't decide which to use first. I adhered the "with you" sticker onto the die cut with 3D Foam Squares to pop it up a bit.

I adhered the individual L O V E chipboard letters to the die cut, and then popped it up with 3D Foam Squares.

This last card uses more chipboard stickers, (the sentiment and the arrow) again paired up with the patterned paper.

Make sure to head on over to Christine Okken's blog next!

Also, make sure to visit the BasicGrey blog where they will be giving away a True Love 6x6 Paper Pad along with winner’s choice of three embellishments.  Details can be found on their blog.

Happy Birthday to YOU! @ginak

It's a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY hop for our fearless leader over at Gina K Designs!  It's Gina's Birthday, so make sure you pop over on to FB, StampTV, or her blog and leave her a happy birthday message!

My card for her uses Tami's set Lighthearted Wishes. I paper pieced my lamp using some of Basic Grey's True Love line onto a Spellbinders die cut.  The red paper is embossed with the Numbers & Letters M-Bossabilities.  Love that number side for birthday cards!

Make sure to check out the others, they are all sharing a special birthday card for Gina as well!
