Thank You card using @Imagine_Crafts & @Spellbinders new Hatpin Bezels

Time for another Imagine Crafts®/Tsukineko® project-  Today I am again using the new Vertigo.
I love how the Vertigo's look changes when you change the angle you are viewing it.  I started my card with some tone on tone stamping using the Memento Luxe™ in Bahama Blue on the card base.  I then stamped the dots using Delicata™ Golden Glitz onto my tag.

For the circle, I die cut the vertigo film, and then inked up one side with Delicata™ in Golden Glitz.  I then inked a bit of Memento Luxe™ in Bahama Blue on the flip side of the circle before adhering it to my tag.

For the bezel, I first snipped the stick pin portion off.  For the inside of my Square Hatpin Bezel, I added an inked piece of vertigo.  I inked it just by smearing it around on the top of my pad, no real science involved with this one- just enough color to add the my bezel.  I finished the bezel off with some letter stickers to spell out thank you.

To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today's cards are all from the awesome new Stamp TV Kit Grateful Heart
This paper is Edible Eggplant and it's showing up a tad too dark in this photo.  It's quite pretty!  I think these flowers are Queen Ann's lace- a new go to floral image in my stash!

I used the mini leaves as my background stamp here, and used the falling "swirl" on the panel behind the owl.   The ribbon piece is also from the kit.

Here I used the patterned paper that comes with the kit, (reminds me of colored wood panels) along with some of the sheer ribbon.  The patterned leaf image is one of my faves.

Lastly, I use the sunflower image as my focal point.  It's so pretty and detailed.  I adhered a ribbon tab at the top, and a few brads on the bottom.

Today we are showcasing the Spooktacular You set.  Since I love Halloween, I couldn't stop using this set!  My first card pairs the fun bats stamped on purple with patterned paper.

Again I paired the pumpkin image with patterned paper, and some burlap.   I added some little staples in the upper right corner of the purple for fun as well.

Lastly, I stamped my haunted house image then colored over it with a sparkly pen.  I flicked a bit of purple ink splatters randomly, and rounded the bottom right corner off.
Watch for more Halloween cards using this set! :)  For now,

Today we are showcasing the new Incentive Stamps- My first card uses the You Make Me Smile set. My first card here I used them in their intended flower form, and highlighted the blooms with colors to make them pop!

My second card also uses the same You Make Me Smile Set, but I used them as a fun geometric patterned instead of flowers.
My last card uses the Friendship. Family. Love set.  I have a thing for those wheat type of blooms, I just love the simplicity of them! I stamped them in a light ink, then rolled the edges very lightly in a different ink.

Happy Monday!

This week the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft team is sharing projects using Penny Blacks stamps, and offering up a prize as well! ;)

The artistry of Penny Black stamps and Creative Dies along with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft's colorful Mix and Match mediums take the mystery out of the oh-so-trendy mixed media look! All this week we’ll be sharing projects using Penny Black stamps.  Check out their crafts HERE and leave them some comment love for a chance to win three stamps from their newest release, Colorful Christmas.  Don’t forget to leave a comment on the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog too for a chance to win a $50 prize pack!

I decided to try using the Stampers Big Brush pens to color with- You can use them to ink up your stamp, but I hadn't used them in the traditional marker way and thought I would give it a go!

I stamped my image using VersaFine ink first, and then began to color using the Cadmium Yellow #107.  I colored all the open petal areas, leaving the striped outline empty for contrast.

Next, I colored the striped leaf parts with my Light Green #171, again leaving the striped outline bare.

I finished the bottom of the leaves with the May Green #170.

To create my sentiment, I used the Stampers Big Brush pen in Black #199 and inked just the word Smile from the bottom of the sentiment stamp.  These markers are awesome for selective inking on stamps!

Make sure to head over to the Penny Black blog and the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog for a chance to win!

Boo!

Happy Friday!  I have a happy Halloween card to share today using Authentique's new Thrilling Collection.

I started by creating the tag as my focal point, and then added a few elements.   I die cut my circle and stamped the skull and crossbones using Imagine Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media pigment ink.
I love the coverage you get with clear stamps and this ink.  It's perfect for paper crafting, or stamping on any porous surface-wood, canvas, cotton or other fabrics.

Thank you card using Imagine Crafts new Vertigo

Hello from Phoenix!  Today I am sharing my AIR post using Imagine Crafts™ new Vertigo.

If you are unfamiliar with Vertigo, check out this You Tube video HERE to learn more about it.

I started with inking up my flower stamp using Imagine Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Luxe™ Mixed Media Pigment ink in Grey Flannel.

This ink works perfectly with the Vertigo.  To avoid any possible slipping, I stamp upside down.

and repeat a few times to add the flowers on the edge.  Let it sit aside for a minute-

Since this is new to me to play with, I wanted to try out what all I could use with it- I start inking it up with FireWorks! in Rose Bud, followed by Pear Tart, & Tangelo.

I want just a little more color, so I inked up the Memento Luxe in Pear Tart add dab ink on to the opposite side I stamped my flowers onto.

I then repeated this step with Rose Bud.  I kept adding ink until I achieved the desired look.

Depending on how you look at the Vertigo, it reflects the light and changes how much color you see.

Check out the Imagine Crafts®/Tsukineko® Facebook page and see other fun Vertigo projects!
