Give Away time from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft!

happy Friday!

The folks over at Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft have generously offered up a prize pack for me to giveaway!

If you haven't had a chance to use their awesome Gelatos®, this is a great giveaway for you!  My card today focuses on Gelatos®!

I started with Silver Ice, Metallic Mint, & Raspberry.  Just scribble onto your card stock alternating colors.

Dampen a paper towel, (or use a baby wipe, I'm all out at the moment) and work the colors together.

The silver got blended out a bit too much, so I went back and added color until I achieved the look I was going for.

My background all blended and ready to use.
You can also ink your stamps with Gelatos®.  Run your Gelato over the stamp, and lightly mist.

Here I didn't like the last word not being so clear-

So, I colored over with the coordinating Stampers Big Brush Marker in Cobalt Green and stamped it back over my sentiment again.

the prize includes the following- The Designing with Gelatos Kit $24.95, Mini Journal Boards $4.95, Art GRIP Aquarelles in Neutral $12.95, the Gelatos Tool Set $11.95 and the Stamper's Big White Pen $6.25.
I'll leave this open until Monday night, and post a winner Tuesday! just leave a comment about your favorite Faber Castell product or if you have never tried them!

enjoy!!

My first card today uses a new set from Rupa named Christmas Joy.  I love how it's filled full of Christmas icons and great sentiments that coordinate.  I stamped the reindeer in Kraft ink on my die cut, and the sentiment in red hot.

My next card is from Melanie's newest set Beyond Baskets 2.  I thought those cute little sentiments would be fun paired up in the little tag image!

I decided to make a few Christmas cards, since I have this awesome new set from Becky, Poster Board Christmas,  to work with, I couldn't wait to stamp each of the sentiments!  I stamped the green wreath first, then used the berry dots after wards in red.  I finished it off with the sentiment in black to pop!

I didn't want a lot of fuss going on this one, the sentiments command attention here. :)  The wreath and image are stamped onto a die cut, and then popped up on the Fresh Asparagus layer.

Next up I have a few cards using Beth's newest set, Lots of Lines.  Again, the sentiments and the awesome font used are making me loving this set!  I stamped the star with Kraft ink on the top, and with Blue Raspberry on the bottom.  Celebrate is also stamped in Blue Raspberry.

Lastly, I stamped the heart in Red Hot and popped it up on the die cut.  I finished it off stamping the sentiment in black.

Sending you a harvest of wishes

Happy Fall- it's full on fall weather here, I think our normal Indian Summer month of September has sadly not happened this year.  We switched gears just a little too early in my opinion, I'm not quite ready for fall and all that follows.

The upside of fall is more crafting time- and using the warm fall colors!  I decided to use some of my favorite craft ink sprays for my card today.

I chose my color scheme based on the patterned paper strip I used, and wanted to bring out the blue.  I stamped my sentiment from the Gina K Designs Grateful Heart Stamp TV kit in VersaMagic™ Ocean Depth.

Then to add the ink splatters, instead of spraying, I removed the lid and flicked the end of the nozzle with my finger.  Here is the Bamboo Leaves Fireworks! Craft Ink spray.

I then repeated the process with the Desert Sand color, again flicking the tip of the nozzle.   (*note-you can also spray these, they usually spray on in a well covering even spray which wasn't the look I was trying to achieve here.)

For my first card, I am using Theresa Momber's new set Let it snow.  I used several of the different snowflake images on the blue panel, finishing it off with a sentiment stamped on a circle die cut with a few blue pearls.

My next card uses Tami's new set, Winter Blocks. I picked my color scheme from the patterned paper.  I die cut my square, and stamped the snowflake image using Ocean Mist.  The sentiment is stamped using Red Hot
